About Dr Gert Ferreira
Dr Gert Ferreira qualified with his Master’s degree in Technology of Chiropractic at the University of Johannesburg in 2014. During his studies he was privileged to work at UJ’s Chiropractic clinic as an Assistant Clinician, he was also President of the Student Chiropractic Sports Council.
Dr Gert Ferreira was invited to join the Golden Key International Honour Society. This Society is an international non-profit organisation which recognizes academic excellence. Membership is by invitation only and is purely based on academic merit. Membership is limited to the top 15% of degree students, from all disciplines.
After his clinical and internship years, Dr Gert opened his private practice in Centurion, Pretoria. Among treating the general day to day conditions he also treated sportsmen and women, paediatrics and geriatrics.
Dr Gert Ferreira always had an intense passion for sport. At school he played u/15, u/16 and u/18 Blue Bulls youth clubs. Dr Gert Ferreira was involved with the Golden Lions Female rugby team in 2014. With Chirosport South Africa he has treated at numerous sporting events including the Africa Crossfit Regionals in 2013 and 2014 as World Powerlifting championship held in Pothchefstroom, Masters World Squash championship etc.
Dr Gert Ferreira has completed the ICSSP – FICS, a 2 year post study diploma in sports chiropractic. Only a hand full of Chiropractors has this qualification and this sets him apart as a sports chiropractor.
Dr Gert Ferreira was recently in Poland to work at the International World Games. He was one of 40 top Sports Chiropractors from all across the world. He treated numerous athletes that went on winning Gold in their respectable sports.
Dr Gert Ferreira is currently the team Chiropractor of Centurion Warriors Ice Hockey Club and the Platteland Blue Bulls team. Currently he is a senior instructor of RockTape, a movement company that dabbles in Taping and instrument assist soft tissue manipulation.
Dr Gert Ferreira strives to get his patients back to optimum health as quick as possible.
Dr Gert Ferreira was born and bred in Pretoria. That is why he decided to open his chiropractic practice in Centurion. He is a Chiropractor in Centurion and for the love of Centurion and Pretoria he strives to provide the best and most accurate chiropractic care to each patient, for the patients to reach optimum health.

About Dr Lebogang Khesa
Dr Lebogang Khesa, Chiropractor in Centurion
Dr. Lebogang Khesa qualified with his Master’s degree of Technology in Chiropractic at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) in February 2020. During his time working at the UJ Chiropractic Clinic, he was privileged to be selected to work in a team of chiropractic students who treat and manage the only quadriplegic patient that is treated at the UJ Chiropractic Clinic daily.
Dr. Lebogang Khesa was also privileged to be selected to work at sport events such as the ABSA Cape Epic, Mandela Marathon, 702 Walk the Talk, Germiston Lake VLC Sprint, etc., during his internship years while studying at UJ. During the completion of his internship after signing out of the UJ Chiropractic Clinic, he was honoured to get an opportunity to work with the first team of the Kaizer Chiefs football club in December 2019. He has also worked with paediatric patients at Ethembeni Children’s Home and often received geriatric patients at the UJ Chiropractic Clinic.
Dr. Lebogang Khesa joined the World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS) UJ Chapter in 2018 and was selected to attend the 2018 WCCS Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Sandton, South Africa as a UJ delegate. At the 2018 AGM, he got nominated for positions both as the African Regional Coordinator and for a position on the Board of Directors. He then decided to take on and serve his 2018-2019 term as the WCCS African Regional Coordinator. After attending the 2019 AGM in Brisbane Australia, he was nominated for a position on the Board of Directors again, where he decided to step down as the African Regional Coordinator and take on the role of the Director of Internal Affairs. He is currently serving his term in his new position on the WCCS board until the next AGM in July 2020 hosted by the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Canada. During his term on the WCCS Board, he has internally headed campaigns such as World Spine Day, ACT4SDG’s, and Interprofessional education and collaboration.
Dr. Lebogang Khesa is also currently a member of the Chiropractic Association of South Africa (CASA) and helps to work on the Matsogo a Sechaba initiative which is a project to build the first chiropractic clinic outside of an educational facility (UJ and DUT) in an underprivileged/low income community. He is also a member of the 2020 CASA Congress organising committee which is an annual event organised by CASA.
Dr. Lebogang Khesa prides himself on having a “patient first approach” to healthcare, meaning that he considers the patient as a whole and thus he loves to work in multidisciplinary settings such as at The W Sport and Wellness Centre. He is passionate about sport chiropractic and continually works on getting himself in a position where he is considered as one of the best sport chiropractors in South Africa. Under the mentorship of Dr. Gert Ferreira, he firmly believes that he will be able to achieve this goal.
